Lungenheilstätte Grabowsee

36 kilometres away from Berlin, the sanitarium at the Grabowsee was built in 1900. The site is located in a very old pine forest and was known for its fresh air which could help to heal pulmonary tuberculosis. Between 1945 and 1995, the Soviet military used the complex as base hospital.

Today, the site is abandoned. As we got there with some friends, we met the guard by pure chance who let us in, even if the terrain isn't open to the public.
