Number 1 Croydon (50p Building) by Duncan Ward

Number 1 Croydon (50p Building)

The iconic Number 1 Croydon Building (Formerly NLA building, or the 50p building to locals) will be familiar to anyone who has ever lived or worked in Croydon. It was designed by Richard Seifert & Partners and completed in 1970, and is a great example of 1960s architecture in London.

People probably don't always associate Croydon with London, despite it technically being the largest borough, but in the sunshine and with the red bus in the foreground I think there's a bit of London in the swinging 60s about it!
