Church of beheading of st. John the Baptist (Pominovec)

This jewel of Romanesque architecture was still in the mid-12th century. In 1963 the church was turned on among the members of the cultural heritage.
In a local legend that only four families survived after the devastating flood land of Pominovca. They reportedly saved seven sheep from the raging waves. They moved higher with them, where they did not reach the waters of Váh. Here they founded a new settlement. Symbolically was the name village Sedmerovec.
