Hampton Court Palace

The Complex geometric and heraldic designs of the brick chimney pots at Hampton Court Palace were produced at vast expense to advertise the presence of rare walled fireplaces present only in the most princely dwellings. Red brick was the most fashionable building material of the time and could be molded and carved more easily than stone. The chimney pots are one of the most striking features of this historic gem.
