Les Braves Omaha Beach Normandy by Lyndall Keller

Les Braves Omaha Beach Normandy

Originally a temporary sculpture in 2004 to commemorate the D Day landings, Les Braves by Anilore Banon has withstood the forces of time, tides and politics to remind us of the massive effort of the Allied Forces on June 6 1944, particularly Fox, Dog, Charlie and Easy Companies. Changing subtlety through the day with the light and atmosphere on Omaha Beach it has three elements: The Wings of Hope, The Rise to Freedom and The Wings of Fraternity.
