The Lady Isabella

The Lady Isabella is the largest working water wheel in the world. It was built in Laxey, Isle of Man in 1854 to pump water to the adjoining Laxey Mines. It’s viaduct stretches across The Glen Mooar Valley. It is popular with tourists who challenge themselves to climb its 95 steps to the top. I did it and it was terrifying but the views were totally worth it.
