New Royal Cinema, Faversham by Philip Butler

New Royal Cinema, Faversham

The Tudorbethan or Mock-Tudor style architecture of the inter-war years is generally seen as being a bit naff and tacky by most, but on occasion was executed with panache. This tiny former ODEON cinema from 1936 in Faversham Kent is one such example, and blends in perfectly on the cobbled streets of the historic town.
Still run as a cinema, Grade II listed.
