Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt by Sally Anderson

Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt

Given that it is around 3,500 years since the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor, Egypt, was constructed, it is incredible that so much survives. Even some of the colouring remains, as in this the stone carved Egyptian symbol statue of Horus as a falcon which stands at the top of the grand staircase.
