Rougham Hall by Tom Goodman

Rougham Hall

Rougham Hall was built in the 1820s and fell into ruin after a 2000lb bomb, from a Luftwaffe aircraft, exploded nearby in September 1940. The clock tower is still stuck on 1:05am - when the bomb struck. It was used as the base of operations for nearby Rougham Airfield (RAF Bury St Edmunds) during the Second World War.
